At English Coach Academy, we want every student to feel confident investing in their English language development. This Refund and Cancellation Policy sets out the terms that apply to all purchases made through englishcoach.academy, including one-to-one coaching sessions, group classes, and Academy membership subscriptions.
Please read this policy carefully before making a purchase. By completing a booking or subscription, you agree to these terms.
In the unlikely event that Coach Fariha needs to cancel a session, we will notify you as soon as possible and offer either a full refund or a rescheduled session at your convenience. We will not charge any cancellation fee in this circumstance.
If a session cannot proceed due to a technical failure on our side (platform failure, connectivity issues attributable to the coach), you will be offered a full reschedule or refund. If the technical issue is on the student's side, the standard cancellation terms apply. We recommend testing your audio and video setup before each session.
Group classes require a minimum of 2 students to proceed. If a class does not reach minimum numbers, we will notify all registered students at least 48 hours in advance and offer a full refund or credit.
You may cancel your Academy membership at any time through your Skool account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period — you will retain full access to all courses and community features until that date.
We do not offer prorated refunds for unused days within a billing period. If you cancel mid-month, your access continues until the end of that month and you will not be charged again.
If you joined the Academy membership and have not accessed any paid course content — as verified by Skool course progress logs, which record all module views and completions — you may request a full refund within 7 days of your first payment. To request a refund, email contact@englishcoach.academy with your account details and the subject line "Refund Request — Academy Membership". Eligibility is determined solely by the activity data recorded in Skool at the time the request is received.
Once course content has been accessed, refunds for membership fees are not available.
The free ECA community on Skool involves no payment and therefore no refund policy applies. You may leave the community at any time through your Skool account.

We aim to respond to all refund requests within 2 business days. Approved refunds are processed within 5–10 business days depending on your payment provider.
Nothing in this policy affects your statutory rights as a consumer under UK law, including the Consumer Rights Act 2015 and applicable distance selling regulations. If you believe a service was not delivered as described, please contact us and we will work to resolve the matter fairly.
We reserve the right to update this policy at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date. Bookings and subscriptions made before any change remain subject to the policy in effect at the time of purchase.
