By accessing our website or purchasing any service, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use our services.
English Coach Academy is a British English language coaching service based in London, United Kingdom. We provide online coaching sessions, structured self-paced courses, and a community platform for Japanese-speaking professionals seeking to improve their Business English.
Our services are intended for adults aged 18 and over. By purchasing or registering for any ECA service, you confirm that you are at least 18 years of age. If you are registering on behalf of an organisation, you confirm that you have authority to bind that organisation to these Terms.

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any service at any time with reasonable notice to affected users.
All prices are displayed in British Pounds Sterling (GBP) and are inclusive of any applicable taxes unless stated otherwise. Payments are processed securely through Stripe. By providing payment information, you authorise us to charge the applicable fees.
Academy membership fees are billed monthly in advance. Your subscription will automatically renew each month until cancelled. See our Refund Policy for cancellation terms.
We are not responsible for any fees charged by your bank or payment provider in connection with your purchase.
All content on the ECA website and within our courses — including text, audio, video, graphics, and course materials — is the intellectual property of English Coach Academy and is protected by copyright law.

Our services are provided "as is" and "as available". While we strive to deliver high-quality coaching, we make no guarantees regarding specific learning outcomes, such as a particular fluency level, exam result, or career outcome. Progress in language learning depends on individual effort, consistency, prior ability, and many other factors outside our control. Any examples of student progress we share are illustrations only, not promises of what you will achieve.
We do not guarantee that our website will be available at all times or free from technical errors.
Our coaching, courses, and community content are provided for general English-language and communication-skills education. They are not legal, tax, financial, medical, employment, immigration, or other professional advice, even where a lesson touches on workplace, business, or professional communication scenarios. You should obtain appropriate professional advice before relying on information where the consequences of getting it wrong may be significant.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for any other liability that cannot legally be excluded or limited.
Subject to the above, and to the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, English Coach Academy is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential loss, or for loss of profit, revenue, business opportunity, goodwill, or data, arising from your use of our services. Our total liability for any claim arising from these Terms shall not exceed the amount you paid to us in the three months preceding the claim. This limitation applies only to the extent fair and reasonable in the circumstances and does not affect any statutory rights or remedies you have as a consumer.
Our services make use of third-party platforms including Skool (community and courses), Stripe (payments), and Cal.com (booking). Your use of these platforms is also subject to their own terms of service and privacy policies. We are not responsible for the availability, content, or practices of third-party platforms.
Your use of our services is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising under or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the revised Terms on this page with an updated date. Your continued use of our services after any changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms. If you do not agree with any changes, please discontinue use of our services.
